Your contributions are critical to the success of our work in promoting the knowledge, enjoyment, expansion, and protection of the Adirondack Park’s wildest places.
Solitude. It’s one of the core values that matters to you, and it matters to Adirondack Wilderness Advocates. We’re your advocates in the Adirondacks for protecting the Adirondack Park’s wildest places. Your gift of $25 or more will make sure that we are at the table advocating for your interests: Knowledge, Education, Expansion, and Protection.
This is your opportunity to support what matters. Together we’ve been working to protect the Park by advocating for your interests on the High Peaks Strategic Planning Advisory Group; creating a visitor use app to educate recreationalists and collect data for local land managers; and working to restore access to Cathead Mountain, an action which could lead to a significant boundary expansion of the Silver Lake Wilderness. But we can’t do this without you!
We are a grassroots organization of residents and visitors coming together over our shared love of the Adirondack Park and the desire to protect it. We need you, and the Adirondack Park needs you. You’ve answered the call before when over 4,100 of you showed up — in person and in writing — to protect Boreas Ponds. We hope we can count on you showing up again today.
