Meet AWA at Albany Winter Sports Expo

Join Adirondack Wilderness Advocates at the 2022 Adirondack Sports & Northeast Ski Expo at the Albany Capital Center in downtown Albany! This event is the longest running ski show in the country, bringing together 160 exhibitors all under one roof.

The Expo will be open to the public Saturday-Sunday, November 5-6 at the Albany Capital Center in downtown Albany. Admission is free! Show hours are Saturday, 10am-5pm and Sunday, 10am-4pm. Bring your family and friends to visit us one or both days.

In addition to AWA, exhibitor categories will include: alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, Olympic sports, health, fitness and travel. Top ski resorts in the Northeast, US and Canada will be represented, plus, your favorite summer sports: running, biking, hiking, paddling and multisport.

AWA’s booth will provide information on many of our current advocacy efforts. Learn what we have been doing to protect and promote the Adirondack wilderness, as well as why we think wilderness is important. You can also learn about some simple actions you can take to help make a difference by interacting directly with Board Chair Kayla White, and AWA Co-Founders Pete Nelson and Bill Ingersoll.

The Expo will also include many other fun and exciting opportunities! Click the link below to learn more.
